Drinkdings was a sponsor at The New Paper's Wedding Planner (wedding fair) at Vivo City. All couples received a drink coupon for a mocktail/cocktail of their choice! We also gave away Drinkdings hampers to 5 lucky couples. The stage games were hilarious - especially blind date, where 10 blindfolded grooms had to pick their wife from 9 others!

Wedding and Travel Fair at Vivocity (21 Feb 09)

One of our first forays into the wedding market...did you know that there is a wedding fair almost every month in sunny Singapore? Lots of people getting married huh? Drinkdings got a chance to introduce this new concept to wedding couples before they plan for their big day, and we're glad to say that we have made several couples happy since then!

This was spotted at the Harry's Diva Night Out

These were spotted flying high above in Harry's Bar at Millenia during the Diva Night Out. 4 leaf clovers or 4 pairs of ... ? Well they looked like something soft, round, fleshy and pink to us all right - albeit a little mutated!

Ladies only! We gave out pretty pink doorgifts with our new mini Stirrings bottles taking the limelight. The party was filled with fun-loving urbanites. Check out the Delectable Delights we had on display!

Aboard the Harbour Queen - Standard Chartered's Management Cruise

Setting up our mobile bar on the boat was rather fun, albeit a little challenging. No room for tardiness - the boat docked at the pier at 530, we boarded with all our gear, glasses, mixers, alcohols, and the boat left 10 minutes later. While we were setting up, the vessel was actually on a little side cruise to nowhere.

Here's Kat showing off our "handiwork", although she looks pretty composed right now, not a few minutes earlier! It was squeezy, rocky, and slippery... and lesson one: don't wear heels on a boat .. actually, change that to "don't wear heels at any event we have to set up for!"

Getting the decorations up on the deck was a tad more tricky, as the waves rocked the boat gently, and the wind threatened to whip away our chiffons.

Managed to snap a few quick shots of the bar in action before I bounded off the Harbour Queen.

Crossed our fingers that all would be well at sea as we watched the Harbour Queen sail off into the Marina South sunset, ballon arch still in place.

Tasting or drinking?

I received a comment from an ASME member when I said I was thirsty, and took a Pear Martini. Member said, "Are you allowed to drink on the job?" and I glanced at him an replied "Why start a business if you can't drink on the job?"

Kat and I were nondescriptedly dressed in our serving uniforms of yellow cap and white polo tee and naturally, everyone thought we were serving staff, so we had to get an ASME sticker and start talking to people before they gave us much attention.

Next time, we'll dress to impress.

Here we are at Helio Spa, level 6, Paragon. Took us some time to find the space (there is no direct lift ... delivery people take note!) and here's our lovely bartenderess, Chi Hua getting ready to welcome guests with a smile and a cocktail.

ASME's Chinese New Year Gathering (6 Feb 09)

Here's us at the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises' Chinese New Year Celebrations. The event was held at Helio, the top level spa at the Paragon. The bar welcomed early birds with a range of delicious cocktails, then members sat in for an hour-long talk on improving their profits/sales...then it was dinner and non-stop revelling for this bunch of entrepreneurs!
