Causeway Exchange at The Arts House (27 Aug 12)

For the CausewayExchange (CEX) held at the Arts House, Drinkdings conceited a signature CEX cocktail.  The CEX is an annual arts event that bridges the two neighboring countries and forges bonds between the citizens of both countries.  During the CEX, Malaysian and Singaporean actors work together to produce plays that touch on the Singapore and Malaysian heritage and cultures, and the plays are produced in both Malaysia and Singapore, to the shared enjoyment of audiences in both countries.

The CEX cocktail uses passionfruit and lychee syrup, as these are fruits native to both countries, and very Asian.  The lychee symbolises the strong bond between the two countries due to a shared heritage (and food!), while the passionfruit denotes the passion for the arts, and passion for life which is brought to life by the actors, audiences and organisers from the two countries.
